Recognizing that some services or products must be continuously delivered without interruption, there has been a shift from Business Resumption Planning to Business Continuity Planning. With our business continuity plan, critical services or products are continually delivered to clients. Instead of focusing on resuming a business after critical operations have ceased, or recovering after a disaster, our business continuity plan endeavors to ensure that critical operations continue to be available. In maintaining our Business Continuity plan, we ensure:
- Plans are updated and tested frequently
- All types of threats must be considered
- dependencies and interdependencies are carefully analyzed
- Alternate sites for IT backup are situated at a reasonable distance from our site
- Copies of plans are stored at a secure off-site location

That includes provisions to ensure the mobility of professional skills along with fully redundant communications backbones and computing infrastructures.
